Funding Needed

Although we may receive some funding from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and its affiliates to start this project, we will need all the help we can get from our generous supporters. We look to you for any monetary donations or support that you are willing to provide the team. The estimated budget for this project is roughly $12,646 and any amount helps us get one step closer to our goal.

Your donation not only adds to the physical build of the vehicle, but helps our team take part in a hands-on project that allows us to apply the concepts that we have learned in the classroom. This opportunity gives us a look into our future careers, enables us to become more innovative in our field, and lets us show other campuses what the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa is capable of creating.

Networking

As the project moves forward, your company will be updated on the progress being made. Invitations to each of our presentations and promotional events will be sent to you so that you may review our progress made from your contributions. Attending our events will also provide you with the opportunity to expand your network as the presentations and promotion events that we will be participating in will include the attendance of a variety of other companies.

Marketing

Becoming a sponsor allows us to promote your company to other universities, companies, and businesses present at the competition and engineering showcases by displaying your company’s logo on the vehicle. In addition to marketing towards other affiliates at the competition, the use of the provided materials or contributions will be noticed as the vehicle is tested around the campus, as the vehicle is tested at sites near the competition, and at the competition itself. We will also ensure that your company receives support from the team: This includes the attendance of the team at events requested by the sponsor and when sponsors are in need of volunteers.
